custom data for mailings

I have the requirement of adding a custom field for a mailing (like region). So that we display only the mailings for a particular region.

How can I add a custom field to a mailing?

You can add custom data for Contact and then use that custom data token for mailing.

Casti - As Kurund implies, custom fields are not supported for mailings. If you're trying to filter mailing instances by "region" - you might check on the 'multi-organization' features currently being implemented / sponsored by USPIRG.

I'm not completely familiar w/ what's going to be included in the next release - but I "think" there might be filtering of mailings based on the sub-organization that sent them. Try catching cap10morgan on IRC to discuss your requirements / and how they fit.
