DB issues and setup questions
July 20, 2009, 10:06:37 am
Hello,

I am re-posting here because my question is not getting any play, but also because I am considering reinstalling so maybe this is where it should be posted...

Original post.
http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/topic,8925.0.html

When I installed Drupal I gave the database a Prefix.  When I use the CiviCRM Calender view, I get an error that the view is trying to incorrectly append the civi Database table with the Drupal Prefix.

I tried renaming the Drupal tables and changing Drupal's prefix setting in the settings.php file and Civi's setting file. This was not a good solution as the CMS seems to be buggy and not work correctly after doing so.

It did seem to get rid of the Prefix error but the calendar was still not showing any events.

SO I un did all that.

QUESTIONS:
Should I reinstall or is there a patch?
Is it a know problem to use a Prefix with Drupal if CiviCRM is installed?
Has anyone else had this issue? I'm looking but have not turned up anything...

What should I do here?
