cannot select all searched contacts in chrome

After I searched some contacts, and when I tried to click on the "All X records" radio button in Chrome, I was not able to select it. If I cannot select it I cannot use actions like " New Smart Group" etc.

This can be seen in civicrm 2.3 sandbox as well

Casti - I haven't used Chrome but I'm guessing that there's some debugging facility or plugin for it. I just checked this functionality at http://sandbox.civicrm.org/civicrm/contact/search&reset=1 (2.3 sandbox) with Firefox (and w/ Firebug enabled to check for any script errors) - and no errors or issues reported.

If you can debug the issue in Chrome - that would be helpful.

I have Chrome and if we are talking about the All Records near the print button and more actions, all records seem to select for me with version 1.9 and the http://demo.civicrm.org

Same thing here with Safari running on a Mac.  When I click All X Records, all the individual records will be checked save for the radio button.  And hence I cannot choose group actions like adding to an email list.

eggtart - your post triggered me to test these controls in 3.0beta on Safari / Mac. I found some issues, but not quite what you're describing. I've posted a bug fix issue here which describes the problems I found:

I WAS able to select "group actions" though. Please review what I found, and then try and replicate your specific problem on the 3.0 sandbox. If you are able to recreate the flow where you can't select group actions - please add a comment to CRM-4991 with specific steps for getting to that "state" on the sandbox site. thx!

Same problem with the 3.0 sandbox.  Have posted to JIRA.
