In the help notes on eg civicrm/contribute/manage?reset=1&action=update&id=1&subPage=Membership it states

If the page <sic> 'Separate Membership Payment' is NOT enabled AND the Contribution Amount is enabled so that user's can opt to give more than the minimum membership fee - then the display looks like this:

  General Membership (contribute at least $100.00 to be eligible for this membership)

I am having trouble finding the right settings to get the above text to show - am i missing something or has something changed?

Okay - not sure what happened there - maybe i had to go back and resave Contribution Amounts after resetting Membership Settings - so all good - am seeing what I expected - but definitely wasn't showing for a while - oh well - onwards and upwards
