Using an external page for payment processing
July 22, 2009, 12:51:11 pm
Hi,

My non-profit uses IATS for donations. According to this I can use IATS

http://homeofficekernel.blogspot.com/2007/12/iats-and-civicrm.html

But I'm wondering if I can somehow bypass setting up a payment processor in CiviCRM by embedding (or linking to) our existing payment collection system.

Just a thought... thanks in advance for any help.
Sanjay

CiviCRM payment processor integration means that your CiviContribute entry will be updated with the results of the payment processor transaction. You can process transactions without CiviCRM but you will have to manually update the outcomes
