First Gift and Last Gift field in CiviContribute
July 23, 2009, 09:41:17 am
I would like to be able to build custom searches on a contact's first gift and last gift (date and amount). I thought there might be a way to create a computed custom field through the CiviCRM gui, but I'm stuck. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks,
Bjorn

Bjorn - you might want to check out the new CiviReport report - Donation Summary (Repeat) - which was designed to answer "similar" questions about giving trends by donor.

Log in to public demo (link above) - and then go to:
http://drupal.demo.civicrm.org/civicrm/report/instance/5?reset=1

(note that the sample data is not too interesting - but should give you an idea of what the report can do)
