White Screen with CiviContribute

I am using the newest version of CiviCRM (2.2.7) and am having a problem with CiviContribute. I am trying to create a paid membership sign-up form. Whenever I test the contribution page, using either the test or live page, it resolves to a blank white screen with http://www.strategicnational.com/civicrm/contribute/transact in the address bar. The This is with either a dummy payment processor or by checking the Pay Later option. The "verify information below" page resolves just fine, but when I click "Make Contribution" the button becomes the "processing..." button, the browser says Loading, but nothing happens, until it resolves to the white screen of death.

What am I doing wrong?

Do you have access to your apache error logs? White screen of Death will normally have errors in their logs that explain them

no i don't have access to the logs on this account. any other way to figure out what the problem is?

Off-chance possibility - test without any confirmation e-mails turned on.

That did indeed fix it. I hadn't configured my mail server yet. I was also getting a USPS API Authorization has Failed message, which I should be able to correct.
