Problem with URL generation and new problem with PayPal transaction

Greetings,

Been using CiviCrm for a few months now and with success.  Today I got a message from a member that when they try to donate they get a Interal Server Error 500 - I tested it as well and got the same message but never got that in the past.  None of the PayPal settings have changed. 

Another problem that developed is that the url generated in the administration console of CiviCrm do not include the www portion of the URL and I get bounced out of administrator area.  The global settings are set correctly. 

I have exempted CiviCrm from seo friendly components. 

Using
Joomla 1.5.12
CiviCRM 2.1.4

Do not use an SSL cert since all payments through PayPal. 

Would greatly appreciate some assistance.

You will need to upgrade to 2.2.x

paypal changed their payment standard urls sometime in the past 6 months. we've fixed this in recent releases of 2.2.x to reflect the change

you can try backporting the patch from here:

Using Drupal version 5 and CiviCRM 2.02. We were in the processing of upgrading but it will take a little while longer. IS there a way to patch or modify CiviCRM 2.02  to utilize the new Payment Standard URL's for Paypal?  This is affecting our donations!  :(

If you go to the link Lobo posted & click on Fisheye you can see what code was changed to implement the patch. You may be able to apply it to your site.
