Can't allocate an openid to a contact - Solved!
July 28, 2009, 02:57:22 am
I have just installed Civicrm 2.2.
The installation job allowed me to allocate my own open id (I can't remember how)
In this installation only administrators of the system will be allowed access.
I have added the details of another administrator, but I can't add his open id in his contact details.
There is a mention in the wiki about this but it supposedly only applies to earlier version of civicrm
http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC/Defining+CRM+users+in+CiviCRM+Standalone
They talk about a new version of openID.php. I tried loading this version to my site but it made no difference.
When I look at my contact details I can see the open id, but I cant change or edit it.
In any other contact I can't add it.
This means no one else can access our civicrm except me as when they enter their openid Civicrm says they are not authorised.

Any clues??

David
