Event Title in Authorize.net Description

Has anyone been able to get the Event Title (or any other event identification) into the Description field for Authorize.net?

There is an issue filed for this in the 2.x series.

If this is important to you, ou might want to check the code and see how you can expose the "source" field of the contribution to ALL payment processors as "description".

I am having the same problem in ver 1.8 and wondering it you had found any way around it.
