Profiles Used for Events - disappeared after upgrade.
July 28, 2009, 02:18:59 pm
I upgrade a client site to 2.2.7 last night and I am now starting to work on Registration Forms for several events including some that were previously created before the upgrade.

When I go into Configure Event, Scroll down to where you can Select Profile to Be Used at the Top and The Profile to Be Used at the Bottom, My Main User Profile (Also used on Membership Registration Page) is not available in the list of Profiles to Select (Only 2 Profiles are Listed).

When I go back to Manage Profiles, my Main Name and Address Profile is there and when I go to Settings for that Profile, the used for looks like this:
    Profile Search Results  [ x ] User Registration [ x ] User Account [ x ] CiviEvent [ x ] CiviContribute
Where the Profile and Search Results are actual Check Boxes that can be Selected and Un-Selected, the remainder of the fields have hard coded x's in the Boxes and can not be changed.

Please advise.

Thanks!

Dallas

I figured it out.  Silly me - I can not include a Contribution Specific Field in the Online Registration Form. I was looking for a way to track PO numbers that some Participants have to enter as a reference number before they send a check, so that they have a Piece of Paper to hand in to accounting that has the PO number on it.

Custom Field then it is.
