On the Membership Summary Page - the numbers only seem to reflect new online sign-up. They do not count those that renewed their membership via the system and have paid for a new year (via the payment module). What am I doing wrong? I can search for them and find them but they are not in the table count. They only difference I can find the in the records is that the new members have as a source "Online Contribution:" and then the name of online contribution form.

We don't insert new records for membership renewals. Membership renewal logic instead updates the same record by re-calculating the end dates,etc.
