membership tab not reflecting latest info, please help

Hi!

I'm using the following:

CiviCRM: 2.2.7
Joomla 1.5
PHP 5.1.16
MYSQL 5.0.25

Here's my problem.  On the CiviCRM admnistration console, I do a search for a contact, then i assign a membership to it (under 'Memberships' tab)  After i click 'Save' button i get the following message:

'XXXX membership for YYY CONTACT has been added. The new membership End Date is MM DD, YYYY. '

so that means the membership was successfully created, but there's nothing on the membership list.  However if i sign out and sign in again, i would be able to see the membership listed.
It seems  the 'memberships' tab on the contact information is not refreshing properly.  How could i fix this?

Any help on this is greatly appreciated!!

Hi again,

I got the same behavior while testing on http://demo.civicrm.org/ (Joomla Version); here's what i did, step by step:

1.  I signed-in as administrator, then went to CiviCRM and did a search. I chose 'Patel, James' from the result list ;  I clicked on 'Memberships' Tag and saw there was no previous membership assigned to him.

2. I clicked on 'New Membership';  I filled out the form with the following values:
* Membership organization: Inner city Arts
* Membership type: general
* Source: left blank
* Join Date; left preselected value by the system
* Start Date: aug-5-2009
* End Date: aug-5-2010
* status override: unchecked
* Record Membership payment: unchecked
* Transacion Id: Blank
* Payment Status: Completed
Then I hit 'Save'

3. I was taken back to the Memberships page but the new membership was not there, instead i got the following message: 'There are no memberships recorded for this contact.  You can enter one now'

4. Then I clicked on 'CiviMember' on the left Menu (Gray background), I got the page that displays the statistics for the memberships  and the list of members.  Ont his page, i could see the record I created.

5. Then I signed out, closed the browser, cleared the cache and open a new browser; signed in to the demo site and looked for 'James Patel' ;  I went to the membership tab and the membership I created minutes ago was listed there.

To me it seems there a refresh problem on the membership tab.

I am not able to replicate w/ same set of steps on Joomla! demo :(

Well I just did the test again following the script that I wrote and got the same result as before, can you tell me please what are the results you are getting?
