Hello!

We're a small non-profit and we need to be able to use our contact/donor management software to send mass e-blasts and create advocacy campaigns (letter to the legislator, etc...). I see that CiviCRM allows e-mailing, but does it allow for a high level of customization of the emails? (We also use Joomla for our website, would the emails be created there?) Also, does CiviCRM have an advocacy campaign feature?

CiviCRM has strong CRM & e-mail functionality and can be configured well for some e-advocacy, like petitions.

The two advocacy challenges I foresee are sending emails to legislators on behalf of your constituent and pre-selecting the constituents legislator based on their address.

There is a compromise if your team is willing to print and mail the letters. $:-\$

Anyone else have experience creating e-advocacy with CiviCRM?
