Search Function: Basic search - no results

With email addresses imported correctly, using the simple search under Find Contacts using the full email address fails to find the contact.  If I use the Advance function and place the full email address in the appropriate text box results in a positive match.

Please advise.

This should work. Could you try replicating this behavior on demo
