who;s your hosting provider and what plan? i suspect upgrading to a better hosting plan will improve performance

I agree it's my hosting company (dreamhost shared) - but are there any tips that can help out with performance? Any tweaks?

upgrade to a better hosting plan or use a service like civiserver.com

we currently dont have any optimization tweaks built in for shared hosting
