Few questions about CiviEvent
August 01, 2009, 05:57:06 am
I found CiviCRM from wikipedia, when I tried to find good software to my project.
I just wonder is there possible to users make events or just site administrator?
I am planning to make site for event planning, meeting etc to free use for everyone.
If there is possible registered users to make own events, this software is perfect to my project.

Thank you for answers :)

depends on what CMS u r using

In drupal and standalone, you can enable and give the ability to create an event via the permission access CiviEvent. You might want to play around with it and see if that meets your needs

Okey, I can now make event via normal, registered user account. But I can also delete every other event made by other users.
Could you tell me how I can fix that?

You can do this in 3.0 where you dont give the folks permission to "delete in CiviEvent"

i..e they can create events but not delete any of them. Alternatively you can do this via an ACL hook and show them only the events that they have created
