Hi there

I'm just getting started with CiviCRM so bear with me. I'm using CiviCRM v2.2.8 on a Joomla 1.5.14 install - no problems installing, been easy !

Ok, I've created my event and have a link from my Joomla site to the sign up page - again no probs.

But I would like to be able to add an additional set of question (~8) that I ask as part of the event registration process - is that possible ?

I have found and created a custom group to which I've added custom fields, again quite straight forwards, but I'd like to link these questions into the signup/registration process.

Any suggestions as to how I might achieve that, if it's possible ?

I've tried adding fields to the Profiles but I can't seem to find the option of custom fields the way there is with custom fields as part of a custom group .There I have the option of radio buttons, drop-down boxes etc etc. I don't see that option as part of Profile fields ? There are the standard ones for Individual, Household etc.

If I can add the more flexible custom fields to a profile then that would be ok, as once I have attached the profile to the event I see the option in the registration form.

Is there the option to add the custom group somehow to a Profile ? Would that help ?

To make my explanation a little clearer I've attached a screen shot - as you see the field names are so long that they've been truncated.

Any ideas ?

Hi - the point is not to do with 'Future information' it is that when you got the link Yashoda posted you can see that you can edit the field label in a profile - ie. the label it has on the page you showed before
