Custom Fields in CiviCase
August 06, 2009, 04:08:59 am
Hi Guys,

I was testing CiviCase in the demo system. Is it possible to have Custom Fields in CiviCase?

Any plans of having reports on Cases? e.g. How many cases from country UK etc?

Thanks
Rohit

Case is just a collection of Activities, so you need to create custom data for activities which is possible.

May be in some future release, but report framework is pretty easy to understand so you can always develop and contribute back :)

No idea. I am aware of only Physician Health Program from Canada that uses CiviCase.( http://community.civicrm.ca/content/physician-health-program-british-columbia )

  • CMS version: Drupal 6 mostly, still evaluating 7.
  • MySQL version: Mix of 5.0 / 5.1 / 5.5
  • PHP version: 5.3, usually on Windows

For reports, other than the built-in Find Cases, we have two that we've built for our current needs:
http://svn.civicrm.org/php

Look in custom_php/CRM/Report/Form/Case, and similarly under custom_templates.
