cant open config files
August 06, 2009, 06:50:34 pm
Hi,
I've just installed CiviCRM and when I went back to the drupal page on the website I recieved the following error:

    * warning: include_once(CRM/Core/Config.php) [function.include-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/futureit/crm.lwb.org.nz/drupal-6.13/sites/all/modules/civicrm/drupal/civicrm.module on line 261.
    * warning: include_once() [function.include]: Failed opening 'CRM/Core/Config.php' for inclusion (include_path='./:/usr/local/lib/php:/usr/share/pear/:/usr/local/apache/phpinc/:/home/futureit/crm.lwb.org.nz/') in /home/futureit/crm.lwb.org.nz/drupal-6.13/sites/all/modules/civicrm/drupal/civicrm.module on line 261.

Oops! - The path for including CiviCRM code files is not set properly. Most likely there is an error in the civicrm_root setting in your CiviCRM settings file (sites/default/civicrm.settings.php).

» civicrm_root is currently set to: .

I appreciate any Help I recieve solving this error.

Regards,

John Curwood

I have just had a look at the civicrm.settings.php file and it is empty.
What should be in there? do I need to re-install civicrm? if so how?

Once again I appreciate any help provided

Regards,

John Curwood

This file should’ve been created upon installation and needs to have contents similar to what you see in templates/CRM/common/civicrm.settings.php.tpl (the parts denoted with %%…%% should be replaced with the proper values).
If you found the above helpful, please consider helping us in return – you can even steer CiviCRM’s future and help us extend CiviCRM in ways useful to you.
