No Components listed in "enable components"
August 07, 2009, 12:34:57 am
I seem to have successfully installed CiviCrm, but when I go to enable components (Administer CiviCRM => Global Settings), I don't have anything listed to enable or disable.  Both sides of the box are empty.

Do components need to be installed separately?

Did you get success message after installation?  I can see all components on local and also on demo: http://joomla.demo.civicrm.org/administrator/index2.php?option=com_civicrm&task=civicrm/admin/setting/component&reset=1

May try re-installing :(

Re: No Components listed in "enable components"

UPDATE:  I have had total success installing to another domain on the same account (same server).  The big difference is that it was a fresh install of Joomla, fresh database, and then install CiviCRM.

So, I suspect that there is something the joomla settings that is causing problems.  Possibly that I have the Legacy: 1.0 plugin enabled on that instance of Joomla.

If I need to remove legacy plugins, thats ok.  I just don't want to have to rebuild the entire site.  Any suggestions?

CiviCRM works without Legacy: 1.0 plugin so you can remove it if that solves your problem. Before doing that just make sure that you don't have any other components that needs legacy plugin
