Custom field Enable/Disable not working
August 07, 2009, 01:22:50 pm
When I try to enable a custom field that has been disabled, the -more- pop up buttons appear a fair ways to the left (see attached). The delete button works, but the enable and disable ones don't.

What's your browser ? There is still an open issue for enable / disable http://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-4847

Looking more closely, the software works fine but it is a mere usability issue. Sorry for the confusion.

A confirmation dialogue line appears several screens up at the top of form, but with about 80 fields it was not noticed as the form was not scrolled to it. Drupal's Editview module does its ajax feedback right above or below the affected line. A popup would be more irritating but would also work.

Joe - great point, thx for raising it. I've reopened the issue:

http://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-4445

We'll replace the current <div> above the table with a jQuery overlay (injecting an element in the table seems cooler but a bit beyond scope for now).

Great solution. Just trying to be helpful with these little posts.

Cheers,
