Problem: after exporting from civic to csv, and than exporting to xls I still have some weird sybols instead of my country based alphabeth ex. ś, ć etc. changing to Ĺ or Ä

It's probably problem with coding??

Do You know any method or programme to convert it properly?

Hey,

CiviCRM is using UTF-8 encoding, which should be handled properly by both Excel and OOCalc. Assuming you're using Windows, if you are able to see all the characters properly when opening the csv file with Notepad or Wordpad, the encoding problem occurs most probably when saving to xls.

Not sure how to handle the problem in Excel, but in Open Office, you can control file encoding when importing from CSV.
