Is it okay to delete com_civicrm in com_installer
August 11, 2009, 05:13:24 pm
I just had a quick query which is maybe more of a Joomla query but I thought I would check here first as the com_civicrm folder seems like the most important folder in com_installer. But yeah, basically I was wondering if it was possible to delete the folder as it takes up quite a lot of space and I am trying to trim down my Joomla/CiviCRM installation?

Thanks!
Russ

Yes. It's only used temporarily. Real files are in administrator/components/com_civicrm.
