civimail click track link not working

Hey All,

I have a person on my mailing list that received a mass mail from civimail back in May and they wanted to revisit the links in it recently but they no longer work.  when you click them it takes them to the main page of where our civicrm installation is hosted and gives an access denied error because it's hosted on a private drupal install.   

anyone know what would cause this?  is there a timespan that civimail tracking links stay active?   i looked up the link id's in civicrm_mailing_tracking_url table and the links are still there.   we have sent out several mailings since May, do the old ones not work after new mailings go out? (this would be great to know because we sometimes send two mailings in a day, it would be a bummer if the first mailing becomes null and void after the second goes out)


any info on this would be great.

links do not have a timespan. they should work as long as all the objects are still present in the DB. if the contact gets deleted from the db, those links will not work :(

can u trace thru the code and figure out why u r getting the error?
