how to change the fields displayed in user contribution dashbaord?

Currently the following fields are displayed in tabular format by default in the contributions tab of a user's dashboard:
Total Amount, Contribution Type, Received date, Receipt Sent, Status

I want to display 5 different fields.

I've created a profile in case that's the way to do it but see no way of associating the profile with the user dashboard tab.

Any ideas?

You will need to do this via hooks and custom templates

U'll need to implement the pageRun hook for that specific page and then customize the template to expose those fields
