Why doesn't CiviCRM use CiviContribute for donations?

In the spirit of eating our own dog food, why does the "Donate" page at http://civicrm.org/donate not use a CiviContribute page? Plus offer people the chance to create Personal Campaign Pages for specific features?   I would have preferred creating a PCP on the CiviCRM website instead of "fundable.org" for getting people to sponser the ACL feature for Joomla.   ( mentioned in the blog post at http://civicrm.org/node/602)

1. its on our list of things to do, we have not yet gotten to it as yet :( The low number and value of donations decreases the urgency (but then u can argue that its a chicken and egg situation)

2. Note that PCP and fundable are two different models. fundable returns the money back if enough is not raised. we dont have any plans of incoporating this feature in.

FYI: fundable.org also keeps 10% of the total if the goal is reached. :-(
