Why don't all the reports that are enabled here:

http://sandbox.civicrm.org/civicrm/admin/options/custom_search&reset=1&group=custom_search

show up in the relevant part of the black drop-down search menu?

Also, have you considered moving the activity search out of the custom searches and into the main searches? I realise it is there because it was probably community contributed but it seems more intuitive to add it as 'find activities' along with all the other 'find' searches
