civicrm as an organisations directory
August 15, 2009, 04:45:01 am
Hi
I have civicrm and drupal installed and want to use civicrm as a publicly accessible organisations directory.

Much like has been achieved with http://www.voscur.org/directories eg. http://www.voscur.org/civicrm/profile?reset=1&gid=4

What I need advice on is how to expose the directory to unregistered web visitors, without the activities and other crm functions visible to them. eg. http://www.voscur.org/civicrm/profile/view?reset=1&id=1048&gid=4

I have setup a civicrm profile, but I don't see how to expose it to non-registered users.

Thanks for any advice

you might want to read the book and some documentation:

http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC/Profiles+Admin
