Cannot create new contact

I am using Joomla 1.5.12 with CiviCRM 3.0 alpha2. From the "CiviCRM Home" screen when I use the left-side area to create a new contact ( either from the select list or the form)  I get the following errors:

Warning: require_once(CRM/Contact/Form/Edit.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home2/pogernet/public_html/test228/administrator/components/com_civicrm/civicrm/CRM/Core/Controller.php on line 352

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'CRM/Contact/Form/Edit.php' (include_path='.:/home2/pogernet/public_html/test228/administrator/components/com_civicrm/civicrm:/home2/pogernet/public_html/test228/administrator/components/com_civicrm/civicrm/packages:.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home2/pogernet/public_html/test228/administrator/components/com_civicrm/civicrm/CRM/Core/Controller.php on line 352
