Activites Calendar and Drupal Calendar merging into a view?

Is this possible to show the two together.
I know you can do it with CiviEvents but how about Contact Activities?

There is currently no function to spit out Activities as an iCal feed. However, this could be a cool contribution / patch for 2.0. Grab someone on IRC if you're interested in working on this.

What I do not get is that there is CiviNode and a menu for CiviActivities but the view is somewhat useless for this?
I must be missing something.
Contributions via coding means learning civi api which may happen one day, I think for me I will focus at the documentation level for now..
