Links not working in mailing through CIVI Mail

Just tested Civimail and it all worked great ecept one I clicked on a link it sent I got the following message:

Fatal error: Class 'JFactory' not found in /home/focusnor/public_html/administrator/components/com_civicrm/civicrm/CRM/Utils/System/Joomla.php on line 300

I went back changed my settings to not track the click troughs and links work fine. Not sure what is causing this, the functionality worked fine in 2.2.8

what was the url u clicked on?

was it extern/url.php?

There were two Urls  pointing to the donation page on the site and the main site. Civi translates them for tracking and that is what was crashing.
