IE7 logon to 3.x

I have been testing my pages in Firefox and IE8 but I have just logged in with IE7 and there is no top menu for the authenticated user or root and the page is not displaying images or proper format within the civiCRM pages. Any clues?

PS I am logging on via an XP PC over a home network as CiviCRM is on localhost on my laptop at the moment. Drupal Administer works OK - just when I go to CiviCRM.

Did you check on the sandbox to isolate whether this is a ie7 issue / your set up issue?

You are right, Sandbox is OK the PC is missing bits of the page e.g. the part called <ul id="civicrm-menu"> is not appearing in the source. So I wonder why the local server can deliver OK to localhost but not a locally networked PC?
