joomla: menus
August 19, 2009, 09:04:06 am
The menu bar css seemed to get messed up btwn alpha 2 and alpha 3.
The bar height/padding is enlarged so that there's a large gap below it.
menu.css (in the jquery folder) line 336 has a bottom padding of 20. But i'm not sure that's where you want to fix it. i'm guessing there was a civicrm.css override to that style that was removed in this version?

Re: joomla menus --
I thought we had discussion about removing the Civi submenus from the joomla components menu. Either that, or fixing them so that they reflect whatever components are enabled/disabled (there's a jira issue on this option). Given the increasing complexity of the Civi menu options in v3, I think we just remove those submenu options. So the only option from the joomla component menu is to jump right into Civi. That's how other complex components tend to handle things (e.g. Virtuemart) -- the submenu structure is just displayed within the component.
