Hi Andy

That's great and resolves the returnURL.

With regards to the contribution issue of not returning I have now discovered that if I disable 'Email Receipt to Contributor' in the contribution page setup, the return works. This would suggest a bug in CiviCRM core somewhere which might also be related to an issue I have found with Paypal standard not triggering a receipt after completion (posted here http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/topic,25975.0.html).

Let me know if I can be of any help with your other Civi/Joomla issues

Okay!

If the contribution page is using a price set and 'Email Receipt to Contributor' is enabled then the return url fails.

If ether the price set is changed to standard amount or the 'Email Receipt to Contributor' is disabled then the return url succeeds.
This is the same with or without membership enabled.

Hi Generic

(Would probably be good to create a separate thread for Sagepay issues by the way, rather than cluttering up this one).

I've been looking into these other issues you've reported where you have price sets enabled on contribution pages - turns out to be two separate issues I think, and they both seem to be in Civi itself, rather than the Sagepay module.

Can you apply the following patch to your installation:

http://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-10936

That should solve one of the problems. I'm now, however, getting the following error in the simulator ...

The requested Profile (gid=1) is disabled OR it
is not configured to be used for 'Profile' listings in its Settings OR there is no Profile with
that ID OR you do not have permission to access this profile. Please contact the site administrator
if you need assistance.

Quite a lot of possibilities there - which one could it be?

Well, it seems it's trying to render a profile for the email then bailing because anonymous users (ie: payment notification calls) don't have permission to do that on my installation.

Anyway, see how you get on with that - and if you get this other problem with the permissions, let me know and we can work out the best way to solve it - we probably want to disable any permissions checking if we're generating an email as a result of a payment notification call, but I'll need to double check that, and make sure we don't go and introduce any security issues by doing that.

It's all a bit complicated and it's making my head hurt.

Oh well, hope that helps!

Andy

Andy

Brilliant! this has fixed the issue, good find.

I am not having any permission issues, email me some screen shots.

We could just get admin to change the name of this forum thread, how many other UK payment processors are there.

This has also fixed the Paypal issue (not sending receipts) which I reported in another thread.

Many Thanks

Hi Generic,

That's great then - if that's all working for you, I'll probably leave looking into the permissioning thing for now - that may well just be the way I have it set up, as I'm not used to working with Civi on Joomla.

I've created the following thread here for any future Sagepay issues:

http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/topic,26198.0.html

I'm sure it doesn't really matter that much, but probably this thread should be kept free for more general UK payment processor discussion (such as Michael's post above), rather than support requests relating to one processor in particular.

Glad that's all working for you anyway!

Andy
