Hi,

Did a simple test and passed one of the param in GET instead of POST (from their example)

https://select-test.wp3.rbsworldpay.com/wcc/purchase?instId=211616

They seem to take both GET and POST

Yay - if that's the case it's pretty straight forward to do then.

I was hoping to persuade them to donate the money to have you develop the Worldpay payment processor.  It's not hard to argue that this would be beneficial to them, as CiviCRM is arguably the leader in open source CRM for non-profits.  Making it easy for such organisations to use Worldpay would surely be to their benefit, and the cost involved is negligable to them. I might have had more success with a marketing person; I was seeing CiviCRM as a potential partner, but of course the partner manager wanted to bring in other partners, and as you say Eileen, I think that is unecessary and inefficient. In the event my point is proved, as I have used Paypal instead. But I do still plan to pick this up again when the heat is off, just to try to get this module underway for the broader UK community.

Hi Guys,

Has anyone considered implementing with SagePay (used to be ProtX)?  Is there any demand for a plugin to do this?

Cheers
Paul

Integration with sagepay would be great - you have some enthusiasm for getting that going?

Michael yes there's potential support for the sage route.

I think my charity wants to go down that route - any tips on implementation? This is most likely to happen in the new year now.

Hi Paul,

My tip would be to contract someone that has done this before - i.e. someone that has written CiviCRM payment processors.

If I were doing this (and hopefully, this is what I will be doing for WorldPay in the near future, perhaps in collaboration with JulieR and others) I would contract Eileen.

When I say contract, I mean contract either to do the whole thing or to advise you on how to do it (not sure of your skill level and capacity) but either way, it's sensible to benefit from someone that has been there before, right?

Michael

PS.  There's a post on the forum where UK people are introducing themselves.  Would be great to hear a bit more about you and your charity there. http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/topic,3847.0.html

I'm also interested in WorldPay payment integration with CiviCRM. In particular I want to use form mode for the payments (the credit card information is collected on a form on my site and submitted to the payment processor). I'm not sure that WorldPay can support that, but my client is expecting that, and I believe they have done it before with another non-CiviCrm system.

Any joy on this subject? Anyone managed to get anywhere with WorldPay integration?

Hi,

Any interest in a payment processor sprint?  There is an event coming up in Oxford http://fairsay.com/events/campaigning-camp/ and we could gather around that to work on payment processors.

Let me know if this sounds interesting to you.

Hello,

I haven't seen anything to suggest Worldpay can do on-site (ie. within the CiviCRM form) payment pages. The documentation I have seen suggests they only do a hosted / redirect payment pages (i.e on their site)

I note REALEX code is in the latest versions of CiviCRM:

At one point someone (below) did write Worldpay code but did not complete it to the point of submission - I don't know if that person still has access to the code - someone might like to try?

Any news on the development of payment processors specific to the UK market?

I've got a couple of projects underway that will need payment handling, and i would love to be able to offer my clients something in addition to Paypal.

Regards
Graham

Hi Graham,

Do you have any funding that you could put toward that (or time) that you could put toward that?  I think we are at the stage where we need one or the other.  I am currently funding a payment processor for http://www.barclaycard.co.uk/business/accepting-payments/epdq-mpi/ on behalf of a client.

Would that be interesting to you?  if so, please get in contact and we can discuss how to move forward.

Hi Michael

Sounds interesting. I'm in discussion with a couple of clients at present, and subject to those discussions I may be interested in the specific ePDQ solution you are working on, and could potentially contribute to those costs. I will certainly raise the issue with them. Do you have any idea of a timeline for a production-ready solution at this stage?

Of course my clients may prefer one or more alternate providers, in which case I would still be keen to work with you and others to develop a solution for those, and again could contribute to costs. The wider the choice we have available to us, the better for everyone.

I'll come back with more information as and when I have it.

Best wishes
Graham
