Search for relationships - then export those

Hi

Not sure how to get this to work - I am sure I had it working in an older version of Civicrm but can't work out now how I did it.

We have networks in our database which are set up with relationships.

We'd like to be able to run a search to bring us up "Network co-ordinators" (relationship type) then when we export their data for mailing we would like to be able to give them a list of people in their network with their addresses... is it possible to create a search to do this and export this data?

Did u try an advanced search using relationship?

However i dont think that will meet your needs. I suspect u will need to write a custom search component for this:

Search using relationship works to bring up the individuals with that specific relationship. However its then exporting those people that is a problem as you cannot export relationship and details of the relationship.

E.G Joe Bloggs runs Network 1 - there are 5 others in the networks. Joe Blogs needs a list of the 5 others in the Network and their contact details.

You will need to write a custom search for this. Seems like it will be useful for other folks also
