How do I re-activate a de-activated event?
August 23, 2009, 08:56:01 am
A couple of things...

Once our Aug 22 event's "Registration End Date" passed, the form remained active. I checked with our Admin on out time zone and confirmed that it appeared that the form remained active. What might be the cause of this? What do you recommend I check?

Also, when the same event's "Online Registration" was disabled, the "Is this Event Active?" was unchecked. Now it is no longer showing up on our CiviEvent "Manage Events" pages. I would like to re-activate it, so that I have easy access to the form content, participants, copy event and so on...

Help!
Thanks
Neil

Note that there is a difference between Registration End Date and Event End Date. I'd double check the values. We use that feature a fair amount on civicrm.org and it seems to work quite nicely

If you do a search all or ensure the date range is valid, you should also see the inactive events

please play around with http://drupal.demo.civicrm.org/ and see if u can reproduce either of your 2 issues

thanx

I am having a similar problem displaying inactive events. I tried a search all and then different date ranges but inactive events still don't show up. I used Views 2 to list all events and the inactive ones are still there.

I'm very new to CiviCRM. Am I missing something?

Thanks
Ian

can u check here: http://drupal.demo.civicrm.org/civicrm/event/manage&reset=1

disabled events are shown. You will need to use the date range is their end date is past
