Installing new drupal and civiEvent versions
August 23, 2009, 11:22:23 am
I am in the process of trying to install the new updated version of CiviEvent/Civicrm.  In doing so, I have to install a newer version of Drupal too.  While attempting this, my site completely crashed.
So my questions are:  If I do a completely new rebuild of Drupal and CiviEvent to be up to date can I still get all of my old information from the CiviEvent database and transfer it into the new upgraded install?  I need access to the database that has event applications already developed, fields developed, current event links, and members who have signed up for events.
If I can do this,  what tables do I need to look at to extract all of that data.  We did do a backup of everything so we do have all of the files, but not sure where to look because there is so much information.
Thanks for the help

can u elaborate a bit on what u mean by the "site completely crashed"? Is the database in a consistent readable state?

Trying to recover pieces of data from the db is probably not a trivial process.
