Create a menu item in joomla 1.5.11 CiviCRM Profile Search and when click on it on site return error

Could not find valid value for gid

I ran into this error too -- both with Joomla SEF on or off.

Not sure what's going on. The values for the menu record in the db are identical to previous versions.
support CiviCRM through 'make it happen' initiatives!
