[Solved] Participant Listing - changing status not working ?

Just going through tidying up my registration form, and I'd like to remove the shared listing of names, locations etc in the Name & Address Profile

I've set Participant Listing to 'disable' and I've also set the required Profile Fields to 'User and User Admin Only' yet I still see text shown under those fields (Name, address, location etc) "...will be shared with other visitors.. "

Is there a way I can disable this sharing ?

You can disable or delete fields that you don't want.

You should disable the fields in the profile. You might wanna check disable & other actions here :

Thanks for your reply.

I don't want to disable the fields, I just want to disable the sharing of data.

Is that possible, given the changes I've made (see 1st post) ?

I guess currently you cannot restrict sharing of profile fields.

Hi,

I'm not sure whether the problem is that the fields are still shared or that there is text that says they are: "see text shown under those fields (Name, address, location etc)".

Perhaps you could post the link to the page where you see stuff you don't want to.

OK - so I think that is help text which someone has configured either against the custom field or the profile. I don't think the fields are actually publicly available - the text is just misleading
