Proper format for aliasing an event
August 26, 2009, 06:04:44 pm
I am trying to alias a CiviEvent to /voucher_purchase

The address is http://www.ourdomain/civicrm/event/register?id=1&reset=1

I can't seem to figure out how to get the alias formatted correctly, apparently.

It works fine on my computer (using IE where I am not logged into the site), but when I try on another computer I get this:

Sorry. A non-recoverable error has occurred.

Could not find valid value for id

Return to home page.

So obviously I don't quite have something right in the alias yet.

I've tried it several different ways using what I found on the forums, but haven't found the right way apparently, yet. Currently it is set to:

voucher_purchase
civicrm/event/register?id=1&reset=1

If you add a slash before the question mark it should work. civicrm/event/register/?id=1&reset=1

Hope it helps

Weird, now it's working. That was what we originally had.
