standalone installation membership quation

Hi,

I've just installed a standalone version of civicrm and have a few questions. I need to set up a membership system to reflect how we do it offline, it's a bit complicated. Basically we charge £30 a year every May 1st. If you're an existing member all you do is pay that £30 every year on 1st of May, but, if you're just joining and you join at a time other than May you need to pay a temporary fee and then pay the £30 in May. The temporary fee structure is as follows:

Jan £10
Feb £7.50
Mar £5
Apr £2.50
May £30
Jun £27.50
Jul £25
Aug £22.50
Sep £20
Oct £17.50
Nov £15
Dec £12.50

This is how you pay when you initially join, and the following May you have a recurring fee of £30. How would I do this in civiCRM.

Also, second question how would I style the live membership sign-up page so it has the look and feel of the rest of our site?

1. In 3.0 you can use the membershipTypeValues Hook and adjust the amount and display based on the month

2. You can modify the css and customize the template files to match the look and feel of your site
