Attributing off-line contribution to PCP?
August 27, 2009, 08:04:04 pm
Hi folks,

This question has been asked before in this forum, but nobody answered it, so I will try asking again. Is there a way to assign an off-line contribution to a person's personal campaign page? I pulled up a contact in Civi and clicked on "Record Contribution" button. I complete the contribution form, including the "soft credit to" field, in order to assign the contribution to a particular person. The contribution can now be found under the recipients contact info, however the PCP of that recipient does not show the amount in the thermometer. The civicrm_contribution_soft table shows a NULL value in the PCP_ID. Is there a way to assign the contribution through the Civi admin interface to a PCP without having to modify the database table? Thanks for your help.

Luis

Please post back if you come up with a workable solution to this. I am interested in the same thing. Thanks

I was asking about this earlier today on irc.freenode.net#civicrm and was told by someone with username yashoda that this functionality is already implemented in 3.1.  I haven't verified that, but thought I'd mention it here.
