Report from front end
August 28, 2009, 05:42:21 pm
Dear civiCRM users, ???
I am very new in this platform,
I would like to get a report that located in admin are from front end.
the report is "manage Custom search/Activity" or "http://<your site>-/administrator/index2.php?option=com_civicrm&task=civicrm/contact/search/custom&csid=6&reset=1"
the story is; I want to get a report from people who contributed on my websilte like (name, last name, ... )
I can get the report from back end, but I want to ask some one else manage this report, and don't want to share back end password with him.
thanks for your support,

adshill

I'm no expert by any means, especially in CiviReport, but shouldn't you create a new user with a different password and just grant them the "access Report Criteria" permissions? Then you wouldn't have to share your password or that report with anyone. If you created something on the "Front end" it would be available to all which would make it public.

unfortunately not possible with civicrm-joomla as yet.

currently in joomla, we only expose a very small part of civicrm to the front end. reports are not currently exposed to the front end
