Custom Templates from 2.2.8 not Showing in 3.0beta

I created custom templates for contact search pages. My custom templates are in /var/www/civicrm_customtpl/. Even after deleting templates_c and clearing caches the custom template is not overriding the default. Custom php files do seem to be working.

The templates are in /var/www/civicrm_customtpl/CRM/Contact/Form/Search and /var/www/civicrm_customtpl/CRM/Contact/Form/Search/Criteria

I discovered this as I was looking into which default templates in 3.0beta are altered from 2.2.8 for which new custom templates would be needed.
