Updating billing address - fails or file not found

When I try to update this contact record by clicking "[  ]Billing location for this contact" in the home contact section, it says that it has recorded the changes and then shows the old address as the billing contact anyway and if you try to edit again appears not to show the billing contact as having been changed at all.

In this case I had made the address a household address, but not sure if that matters.

EDIT: The reason I was looking at this was that it wasn't working on my Joomla installation, where the server comes back with a 404 error on this URL:
http://www.domain.uk/administrator/index2.php?option=com_civicrm&task=civicrm/contact/add&
which ends with a "&" which I assume is a bad sign.

I am not clear what are you trying to convey?

You url seems to be incorrect. Can you try with http://www.domain.uk/administrator/index2.php?option=com_civicrm&task=civicrm/contact/add&reset=1&action=update&cid=102

Sorry, must have explained it badly. The situation I am describing is where the contact has a primary and billing address, which are different (as on the sandbox at the time). I set the primary address to be the same as a household, and at the same time click the option to make the primary address the billing address too.

I had expected that the prevous billing address would not be retained, and a tick would appear in the "make this billing" box for primary address, with both therefore pointing to the household address. Instead, it just seemed to forget about it and carry on as before. That would appear to make the "make this billing" address tickbox non-functional.

Hope that explains it better....


As for the URL, I realise its wrong - but that was the one that was being generated by the system. I'll try the correct version.
