hello civicrm forum.....iam a new user of civicrm3.0 alpha and i am designing a site which requires membership management which made me choose civicrm. i am havin problems with how to make the membership full registeration, members due payment, membersrecord viewing and other function show at the front end and this is the most important feature needed by my customer. i will be very grateful if this forum could help me deduce a solution to my problem

you should read the book and the documentation: http://en.flossmanuals.net/CiviCRM

The membership registration/renewal page and the contact dashboard can be exposed to the joomla frontend

Yes you can expose it to the front-end, but is there a way to expose a different view of the dashboard to the front-end than the backend.  Not just different css styling, but maybe without tables or something?
