Displaying "pdf" and email icons along side "printer" icon

All of my Joomla articles display with three icons  in the top right:  pdf, printer-friendly, and email.  For consistency, I would like to have the same three options on my CiviEvent and CiviContribute front-end pages. How can I add "pdf" and "email" icons to these pages?

there are two parts to the icons:

1. adding the icnons, which u can potentially do by customizing the templates (depending on where you placed it)

2. implementing the functionality for these icons (pdf, email). We currently dont have that functionality, so you'll need to add the code to do the needful
