In tags, if you have a tag which is a child of another, civicrm does not object when you try to delete the parent tag, but then fails with database errors. It is probably the right behaviour ultimately that it does not let you delete a parent tag, but probably not right that this problem is caught by the database generating errors rather than CiviCRM querying this when doing its "are you sure?" check.

In the sandbox, this behaviour can be seen if you try to delete the Company tag (of which Limited Company is a child tag).
